March 14 the club took a trip to the Antique Automobile Club of America Museum in Hershey, PA. This is a top – notch museum with some permanent exhibits and special themed displays. Currently they have Old School Hot Rods and Customs along with a display of Saab automobiles. There is also what is probably the best collection of Tucker auto- mobiles in the world on permanent exhibit. We had 18 members attend with several staying over at the Springhill Suites just across the parking lot. Thanks to Don Bock, we were given a special “Behind the Scenes” tour of the storage barn and the restoration shop. We had a brief meeting in the Board Room of the museum and then headed into town to Fenicci’s Italian Restaurant. I would like to thank Dawn Dennery for organizing the dinner.
There was a bit of a rush after the meeting to get to the restaurant by our 3 PM reservation. Somehow Lydia Schmidt, Bob Kiefer, Ron McDermott and Stan were left out of the group photo. My apologies for that.
