Hello out there Chevy Fans, just wanted to share my latest project. I purchased this 1971 Corvette 454 cu inch with A/C 40 years ago. I have never paid much attention to it as I usually focus on my 60 Chevys. Back in 2008 we got the itch to go racing with it-so on went the headers, 456 rear, hotter camshaft, high rise intake, Holley double pumper and Slicks. The car is an original LS5 454/365 HP and Turbo 400 Trans, 3:08 Posi Rear. I removed the AC compressor and condenser years ago. After racing in ’08, put everything back to stock except the hotter camshaft. I am now installing a smoother camshaft and the AC components-taking my time to insure it all goes well and looks nice.
